Middle School Relationships

This class may well provide the key to success for the middle school student, teacher and counselor; indeed for everyone interacting with children of middle school age. Success in academics, social life, and character development depends upon the relationships that students have with their teacher, with one another, with advisors, and with society. This course examines how Middle School students perceive relationships, the kinds of relationships they find most supportive, and how to implement them. It reaches into the core of the student’s motivation and demonstrates practical, efficient responses to the disaffection so many students experience. All work is evidence based.
