In a consultation, you will often take me to an edge and give me the tools I need to go over the edge if I choose. Once you have me there, you give a slight nudge. Not enough to push me too far…just enough of a nudge to cause me to totter on an edge of which I was not yet aware. It is powerful and hard to ignore but compassionate and connected.
